Very welcoming and efficient staff. Food v good. Room very comfortable and clean. We had a room at the front and the view from the bedroom window looking out on the estuary was stunning. Enjoyed viewing lots of paintings (many for sale) on the walls in some of the public rooms. Car parking good.
Arnolds Hotel is set in a wonderful location, with a beach/bay to the front and the mountains to the rear. The owners and staff could not have been more accommodating and friendly. The dining facilities are excellent and the food is extremely good at reasonable prices.
Situation ideal. Scenery excellent. We stayed only one night but found it warm and friendly, a pleasant stay. Thank You!
We did discuss with management the privacy of clients in Room 51 where there were no lace curtain and any one in the back garden could look straight into the room and therefore we had to pull the curtains all the time that we were in the room and missed out on the sun that eventually shone.
Convenient to town and nightlife. Friendly helpful staff. Warm & comfortable; and of course the traditional music in the evenings
The staff and food was excellent. We enjoyed the music and dancing in the Whiskey Fly Bar. Proximity to golf, the beach and the town were great.
A few cob webs in the room were the only negative and they were not a big deal.
This is a very professionally run hotel, which just gets everything right. The location is superb, and the hotel great value for money.
It was a very relaxing break, in a beautiful location. The hotel is next door to the pubs and beautiful walks are within reach. The staff were friendly and helpful.
I love Arnold's hotel it's very homely and comfortable. I love all the open fires in the public areas where one can sit and relax and read or chat. It's great having the free wifi too. The food is good and the staff are very warm and friendly. A perfect escape from the busy city. We love walking so it's a walkers dream all the great outdoors to enjoy and the scenery is beautiful. Hope to be back again soon
I love it's old fashioned charm can't think of anything I don't like about Arnolds.
We stayed at Arnolds because it was central to an area we had not visited for nearly 50 years. It was very relaxing, comfortable, with friendly helpful staff. It has a comfortable and warm seating area with an open fire ideal for reading and meeting other guests.
Well run hotel in a beauiful area.
Very friendly, helpful reception. When we changed our minds about eating in the main dining room to the bar room at late notice it was no problem for the staff to re arrange this. The food and service were both excellent in the bar restaurant. Very kindly offered to make a complimentary birthday cake!
Beds very clean and plenty of space in the family room. Bathroom shower had a grubby bathmat, grouting around the shower needed replacing and very poor water pressure in the shower. Breakfast staff could have been more attentive. Had to ask for more toast, more sauce and jam.
Very happy and comfortable - exactly what we needed after a stressful period of some months
Relaxed atmosphere in comfortable accomodation.Excellent centre for touring NW Donegal.
Room needs updating, decor horrid, needs a good cleaning!!!!!
